It was 1850 when in Pieve di Bono, in southern Trentino, Ceschinelli Gaetano began to build the first wooden wagon and put in the company the first lathe that was used to make wheel pins. In 1900 his son Luigi took over the business and until the 1940s carried on this processing in great demand, at that time, by small tradesmen.

In 1945 it was the turn of Luigi's son Tarcisio, and with him, from there on, the workings began to be diversified, from screwdriver handles for Fiat to wire winders for the Michelin.

In the 1950s the company won the Rovereto Fair for the best wooden wagon for two editions.

Toward the 1960s-70s there was a further development due to the economic boom of the period, which greatly increased the demand for turned items, and from there on the production variety was very wide: bathroom furniture accessories, feet, knobs, wooden pinocchios, and numerous other items.

Ceschinelli Maurizio son of Tarcisio and current owner, came to the company in 1975 and since that period the strong point of our production has always been the processing of fine woods e.g., briar, ebony, rosewood santos, wenge and others, to the point of having machine tools and specific equipment for processing this type of material so as to obtain a product of high quality and absolute guarantee.

In order to obtain an exclusive product, the result of Italian tradition,we cooperate for metal parts with the best companies specialized in metalworking.

PRODUCTS

This is a small demonstration of the items we produce.

The items are almost always made upon customer request both in shape, material and design finishing, therefore this exhibition illustrates a purely demonstrative title of our wide typology of processes.

The woods we use have certificates of origin and are cut legally, coming from forests controlled by the state.
